That being the well known case, I guess the only real fix is a truck without a Rigbastard.☺
Really glad I don't lease...

Maybe I'm just lucky or the techs @Shelbyville are just that good. My APU has been mostly trouble free during the time I've had the truck. I've burned through a couple of lower fans which were replaced in about 30 minutes a piece, but other than that, no issues.

Word from FM is go to sprimo to some other shop they have used before to R&R for a rebuilt unit.

Don't jinx yourself man!

The problem with mine, why it keeps overheating, is the side fan isn't working. Do I just need to get the whole fan replaced or is there maybe just something wrong with it that I could fix myself?
-
You can try washing it out on the chance that it is just road gunk slowing it up. If it doesn't kick on at all, it needs to be replaced. The high heat they endure tends to burn out the electric motors on the fans. That's a crappy fan to go out because it takes a bit more work to replace than the lower fan. I've had each replaced on mine. I've had the chance to learn quite a bit about the Rigmaster because when I am not running I hang out with one of the shop guys here at Shelbyville.

My old Tripak has 12,000 hrs on it and has never been in the shop for anything other than a pm. I've put a couple belts on it over the years and changed the motor mounts one time but thats it.
Probably just jinxed it by sayin this tho. lolNavigatorWife and S M D Thank this. -
The rigmaster is gtg thanks to truck & bus in sprimo. 2 sensor probs. Done in 45min! F***n' A!

I was going to say it's just the sensors lol. It reminds me when my volvo kept shutting down for low coolant yet it Had full tank of it. Going down donner it kept going into limp mode then at the break check I disconnected the sensor put a paper clip into it to round the circuit and bam weather the truck had some coolant the computer always read it as full lol
NavigatorWife Thanks this.
