It takes me two hours to get to sleep sometimes.

I get up mean and cranky some mornings. I slept fine according the dreamland. But frankly the body is #### and burning with problems in need of 4 seperate medicines to fix before breakfast that prevents me from puking all of them up the first hour.

Im not here to be dififcult if I needed a sleep lab right now,. there is one at the local hospital on the second floor. My primary doctor who I might visit once every 5 years will write a script allowing me to visit that Sleep lab and run a assesment probably over 3 days on my own money with his approval. And nothing said about work or nothing.

Collect the documents related to the test itself over three days from Release of Information desk down stairs in the Records Dept desk take all of that home, should be a nice inch thick chart that was built on you including actual printouts of your sleep progress or lack of with a whole lot of squiggle speak that doctors understand.

Well to address the hipaa thing, they can share it with the carrier, that's why the exemption. You don't have to sign it, see that's the catch, the law is there to protect it from being released to the public and unauthorized people, the carrier is not unauthorized because of the relationship between the lab and the carrier thanks to those regulations about the physical itself.

I have yet to meet anyone at any doctors office who know what they are talking, most use a blanket statement they were taught to say but never was explained the actual law.

Learn how to do circular breathing, like find yourself a diggederoo and do a half hour of making weird sounds, they say that helps with that.

A rifleman taught me to pull a breath over 8 seconds with just the diagphragm under the ribcage only all the way to the bottom at a measured pace firmly on the inbreath.

    HOLD 6 seconds.

Then let it out, deflate over 10 seconds as you breathe the air out. When it's all out, you should also be a empty balloon with a completely compressed ribcage and a big gut. At that point 2 seconds later the heart rate should settle really fast, pause your beathing long enough to take the shot. You should be on target at that point.

I am going to add a article that is fairly informative.

Essentially Patients information goes out to insurer, maker of device etc. Unless you stick with a older model that shares just the card memory to your doctor.

You pay thousands to rent over 15 months due to deductible on CPAP Machines worth 500 at best retail.

There are other revelations to some like myself who know nothing about these things and what is going on. So I share the article here. I have also made a copy of it to store on the array for future reference.

I think it's a little misleading because you have to register a CPAP like Resmed before it will send the data. Most people have insurance paying for the CPAP. So they want to make sure you are actually using it, if they are paying for it. ResMed has a built in cell phone data but unless someone registers it it won't send the data. You can even turn that off, so it won't send the data. It has Airplane mode just like a cell phone to stop data from being sent out.

If someone is paying for it themselves you can get CPAP cheaper then going thru insurance. ResMed is more expensive because it comes with humidifier built into every CPAP and the data reporting and you can hook heated air hose and it will adjust humidifier and air temp automatic.

Maybe people don't want to know that, ha ha but you can get cheaper CPAPs. I think you can get ResMed for about $800 online without a mask
