I have had so much #### happen in the last 2 years it is a wonder I do not forget my own name. I suffer from CRS syndrome. There are things I can remember, Like you said you can remember the doctor's name that fixed your eyes because he scared you with his big ol hands.:biggrin_2559: That's funny because I can remember the doctor that took my gallbladder out almost 19 years ago. Because he was an old fart and cut me from one end to the other. And I am to this day still having problems. I can remember that my study was done at the Hospital in San Marcos and His Name was Dr. Ron(something) or Dr(something )Ron. I have goggled it and checked for doctors with Ron in their name. But nothing sounds familiar. I am just hopping that when I am not trying so hard to remember that it just pops into my head.:biggrin_2559: And I have not had that insurance company in 4 years. We had a fire out at our place a couple of years back. It started as a brush fire in the back 50. As you know central texas has been in a drought for going on 5 years. It got nasty quick. It burned our house, my shed, one of the cars and barn all gone. So all of my records and photos of my kids growing up went too. So my mental file cabinet is not as good as having the actual paper to look at. Everything we owned was gone!

Maybe if you know the hospital it was done you can call them and see if they can search it to find the doctor's name--swift will want to know the name/address/maybe even phone number for the doctor. If you could get a number even maybe from hospital --they can fax the info to swift for it.

:biggrin_25519:I had another study done yesterday and everything is fine. No more sleep apnea if ever really had it in the first place. They said that sometimes it you lose weight it can go away. So that's cool with me. But thank you very Mich for your input. Is appreciated.

I was VERY relieved to find that out! Here I had been using my CPAP and kept ripping if off in the middle of the night in my sleep. That's because I really did not need the thing anymore

Whats that sleep test like? I'm getting it done soon to find out if thats why I can't get sleep anymore. I've had a few people tell me i have sleep apnea. Is it odd that i'm nervous of the test?

Don't get nervous unless the doctor with the big hands from Bakersfield shows up.

They tape some little sensors on your head and chest, put an oxygen monitor on your finger and then put you to bed. None of this stuff hurts. It keeps track of what stages of sleep you get into, your pulse rate and oxygen levels as you sleep. Additionally, someone watches to see how much and how loud you snore and if you need it, you will be placed on a CPAP during the night so they can set your pressure correctly. Again, none of this will hurt.

You will feel kinda like a Borg, though...
