Pisses me off because I have an older machine that doesn't provide readouts and has no SD card slot. It does however have 14,000 hrs of use. If claimed apnea on physical form then I have to provide data, which my current machine cannot provide. I'm planning on starting with a company in the next week. So even "if" I had one of the newer machines. I would still have to get 3 months usuage on the new machine before I could start. Correct?

If you are open and honest with them about using the machine regularly to treat the years old diagnosis, and you know that you are better on the machine, and have evidence (hour meter on the machine, I assume?) that you do in fact use it, you might just be told to upgrade to a machine that meets what they need to see and give you the 1 year card. Go in there denying you have it, now you get to do a sleep study ($$$$) and buy the same darn machine they'll want you to use anyway, but now you'll have to demonstrate that you are, in fact, using the device before you'll get your 1 year certification.

That's the machine I use on the truck because it runs off both AC and a cigarette lighter. (My "regular" machine is AC only so I keep it at home) The Remstar doesn't use an SD card. It's more like a credit card with a metallic chip embedded in it. It goes in a vertical slot on the back of the machine.Take the card to the medical supply company you got the machine from and they will provide you with the printout. It should be free. I believe the preceding 90 days would have been plenty for the doctor but I had a full year printed out to be on the safe side.

I actually called the place where I got my machine. I guess 7 r 8 years ago that wasnt thought of lol. Hence my 14,000 + logged hours the machine shows lol

It has a card. just not an SD card. See above.

No cards ot anything. They pulled my unit by the serial number. Basically said sorry brah. You're machine is old

Looking now Green Monster. It would be cool if it had one. Checking now

If you say so, but here's the manual for the Remstar M. Section 2.2 shows the slot on the rear. That's too bad if you don't have it. It does say the card is an "optional accessory", but the insurance company required it to confirm I was using the machine like I was supposed to.
