As an added bonus, you get to keep the old mask too. I just went through the change and they gave me the old one back as well. 2 for 1.

You still have to baseline the unit, so an automatic one does not mean it automatically sets itself up.

By the way you can buy used ones cheap, they are offered by many different medical device suppliers.

    UKwildcatfan Thanks this.

If I lost 200 pounds, would this whole apnea issue go away? I think I'm gonna try to lose 190 lbs. I'm 6'6 390 right now.

    NO not all the time.

I've had it all my life and weigh a lot less than I do now when I got my cpap for the first time.

Maybe you need to lose the weight before you get into this work, you can gain more weight quickly - especially if you're emotional.

What would your advice to me be if they did give me the CPAP Thursday? I'm genuinely asking for your advice.

You still need an RX. I tried this. Any reputable place will not sell yo one with out it. And you want to make sure that the unit has low hours.

Take it and try it out, if you don't feel it is working, then tell them.

    That's my advice.

Ok, how long would you give it? Maybe 30 days. That is simple advice, but it makes the most sense out of anything I've heard lol.

More than likely, you'll feel a heck of a lot better anyways. Definitely wouldn't hurt. Heck you'd be surprised how much better you'd feel after 25lbs

What AHI number and compliance do most trucking companies require?
