You're welcome.
This is definitely a "give and take" industry...and if someone has only one of those in them (Take), it is NOT gonna work out well for them.

Call some outfit like Contract Freighters and ask what they want. (800-cfi-drive).
They probably just want a copy of the long form.Duurtipoker and UKwildcatfan Thank this. -
Settle down UK....I wasn't even talking to you. I quoted Freightlinerguy....and HE is the one that used the phrase "entitled".
Sure you calmed down and apologized to me...but you went right back to pissed-off in a matter of minutes. LOL! You're definitely a piece of work.Dumdriver, KillingTime and Blackshack46 Thank this. -

The better question is, what you should ask the trucking company. Find out where they do their DoT physicals. Call that place and ask them what they require.
The first company I went to, that started my sleep study saga, required 90 days of use before they will let me go back. That was as a new user of a CPAP. Another guy that I drove there with and still keep in contact with needed 30 days. He already had a CDL.
What most companies won't tell you is they have a bit of pull over what the CME they use will ask for. They want that opening to blame the CME instead of their rules. "Hey sorry for hauling your ### all the way out here just to send you home on a 37 hour bus ride but....the CME won't pass you.....".
I spoke to my local CME about their requirements and they said if I have 30 days usage with good results they will give me a one year card. So I spoke to my second choice company and found out they use my local CMEs for DoT physicals. So now I need to find out specifically WHICH one they use (hopefully I'll get that info today) and see if they also want 30 days.
@UKwildcatfan , you can get some great information on this forum. But don't take it as the bible. There are a lot of ######## here. A LOT. There are some good people here. Anything you get from here, verify it using other sources as well. Just like you should anywhere. Never take just one answer, confirm that info with another source.
These guys are truck drivers, not medical professionals. That's not an insult to anyone, that's a fact.
And if you're going to stick around, you need a thicker skin. Take time to learn who to listen to and who not to listen to. Some folks here want to give you good advice to help you, many just want to be feel superior and tell you you don't know anything. Read. Think. Verify. You'll figure it out. Once you do, there is a wealth of knowledge here when you know who to take advice from and who to ignore.UKwildcatfan Thanks this. -
No UK, that is not directed at you...it is a blanket statement based on MY observations.Last edited: Mar 3, 2017

Alright now that you got swaddled a bit, little snowflake...
Let's get back to smacking you around and toughening you up. I want to make sure you have some thick skin before you get behind the wheel and get stuck behind Mr. and Mrs. Mega in the fuel island for an extended break and cause yourself a ulcer.
Haha..
