I have literally worried myself into tears over this. I cannot picture the future without me driving a truck. It is all I want to do. I was so close to making that dream a reality, and this could end it all and ban me from trucking for life. I don't know if I could stand it.

Who said anything about solely DOT requirements? A requirement is a requirement regardless of who is issuing it....or how YOU feel about it.

    May i make a comment?

    Going to anyway.

Your "dream WILL kill you, if you dont become healthy." Its a lot easier to grab the pizza wings and fat food from the food bar, over a salad.

People come to trucking, some were not fat, now they are. You sit for 8-11 hours a day. Boredom gets you and you eat and smoke your life away.

I get the vibe, you really dont give two ####s about being safe and living, but when you come out of the factory job, real people are going to be affected by your decisions.

You have a heart attack and croak over that corn dog, and run into people..... thats real. So while the cpap is argued to not be nothing but a scam, you admit many times to being heavily fat. The prime candidate for sleep apnea. So while it may be a scam, it could also extend your days on this earth a couple more days.

May I suggest you start taking your life, decisions and this career move with more seriousness.

This is the real-life, you can accept what your getting into, or come back with another bi polar as #### answer.

My point exactly. You literally prove time and time again, you are not ready to be a trucker.

Great news! I just got off of the phone with a recruiter and I tearfully told them my situation. This a great company and he said sleep apnea was a scam and wanted me to join them. He said they didn't care about my sleep study. He even said a little prayer with me about my situation as I was crying. Long story short, I am leaving for training and orientation in 2 weeks. I'm so excited.
