Oh I have plenty. Just not worth it to debate with someone so far out there rhey don't even realize why we have hos, much less all the other regs.
Here's a hint. By past actions truckers as a group have proven they have to be regulated.

So what? By your logic we might as well just get rid of vehicles all together. Right? I remember seeing people sleeping fine and I remember seeing people commonly if they're tired just going to bed. Much more common than I've seen people passing out from exhaustion.

Well it's weird truckers are more heavily regulated why aren't police? Why don't police have ELDs cpap machines etc when accidents are pretty much on pair with truckers. There's 1 civilian fatality for every 625 truckers per year and there's 1 civilian fatality for every 708 officers (roughly per year on average), so why aren't police regulated the same?

    alds Thanks this.

Triuckers don't have cpap machines regulated. The fact you can't even get yhat through your mind makes everything else you say meaningless.
P.S. cops have their own regulations...

They don't? Really so if a medical examiner recommends a sleep study possibly resulting in a rigged false positive result and the trucker refuses then what happens to the trucker. The fact you haven't grasped that yet is making me wonder why I even respond to your comments. Oh they do have comparable regulations. Like what?

The driver simply goes to a dot clinic that follows the regs and doesn't require extra stuff not in the regs.

Not a hard concept to grasp.

Not hard to grasp companies that have physicians recommending drivers for sleep studies is the entire discussion in the thread lmfao. You're saying, "it's not mandatory" jesus christ you're dense af. The problem is company doctors recommending drivers for sleep studies or telling them to pound sand. That ability should be removed. That's the problem lmfao someone needs to write a statue preventing physicians from doing that type of stuff giving the driver a choice ffs. Still waiting on the regulations you were talking about. I'm done with you lol jesus f christ.

Schneider driver. personally voiced my opion LOUDLY about sleep studies. And I was given results just under the bar. despite no medical indications I had sleep apnea. There is a financial gain to get you a cpap. There is also a legal out for the company if you fail to use it.
Make known you do not have symptoms and your desire to legally challenge them.

Fail to use it, meaning the cpap machine. If you get in an accident and you haven't used it, YOU are responsible
