Just got hooked up now waiting to get tucked in lol. I popped 100 mg of Benadryl and I'm kinda sleepy so may not need the xanax after all. I'll still probably take it in about an hour though.

Now you don't wanna take it? Heh.

We gonna have fun tonight. Keep us posted. In all seriousness I hope this test finds the cause of whateever is the problem.

Been laying here with my eyes closed for 2 hours. Took 150 mg Benadryl and the xanax and been up since 330 am. Can't sleep a wink. This is so frustrating. The xanax made men more alert and did nothing.

So they let you do a sleep study while popped up on drugs?
    Wow.

And one thing I'll never understand is how they expect you to sleep well in a totally alien environment.
I've never been through it, but I'm sure I would not do well. I have to be in a relaxed place to sleep, and in a strange room with wires hooked up to me would prevent any kind of sleep.
Even in my own bed, having stuff hooked up to me would not let me sleep.

And that is why I think most of this apnea stuff is just fluff.
They can say whatever they want and make you go through the sleep study, but the actual process makes it too difficult to sleep at all. Then your test shows that you woke up so many times during the night, so you have the problem.

A sleep study is a self-fulfilled prophesy from the beginning.
    The ultimate catch-22.

This is ####ed up. I just woke up and he said i slept 45 minutes now I'm wide awake again. The xanax literally did nothing. I think it made me less sleepy tbh. I'm fixing to leave and say #### this.

And that is why it is voodoo science. No studies on how apena is negative for driving. No multi night studies, to get an accurate result, nothing that makes any other medical test in the world actually accurate. Annoying as heck to have to go through it for made up statics.

What I have found is the more exhausted I am, or my wife is, the more likely we are to snore. Her son couldn't handle a cpap, and refused to use one, he would actually turn a bluish color. He could snore sitting up with his eyes open blinking at you, and when he was lying down, it had windows rattling and probably was detected on seismographs,jk, but he was one of the worst. He had surgery to fix damage from having a broken nose repeatedly, and it reduced the level. He still snores, though.

Mine is nasal, and I sleep on either side by preference.

One MD just had me take Claritin but now I take Zyrtech. More for congestion.

A friend knew he had sleep apnea, had to wait for coverage, took the test, cut to the chase, and went right to the apap, cpap wouldn't work for him, he knew that from before and he's doing fine, it adjusts to what he needs. He also was a RN.
