All I have to show is 30 days use and I get my year card. Do it every year and no I don't use mine every night because it doesn't work for me.

I’ve been using a CPAP for 8 years, and I had to make some adjustments when I started. First, the over-the-nose mask didn’t work for me at all, I had to go for a full mask (my stepson used to put it on and pretend to be a fighter pilot). The other thing that I had to figure out on my own was the humidifier. If I didn’t use it, I had bad sinus issues and horrible dry mouth. I set it to the highest setting (5 on my machine) and those issues went away. I also find that I have to clean the mask daily (I wipe it with hand sanitizer) or else I get skin issues where it rubs on my face.

Concentra is the biggest scam ever. I’ve turned down job offers because they wanted me to do a physical at concentra. I have no problem getting a two year med card anywhere. Get sent there and they want you to do a sleep study cause my neck is over their circumference. Mind you bmi, weight, all that are fine. Just have a big neck. Been sent to a sleep study my own personal Dr. and nothing. Go to theirs and I’ll probably have it. Someone should sue them or something.

Another thing that can mak using CPAP more comfortable is the Heated Air Hose. When people use humidifier and sleep in cold room like trucks can get. The humidified air hit that cold plastic tube and it will rain or all collect in the hose. So you end up with lots of water pooling in hose and does nothing. Plus make funny sound when your sleeping. Reamed heated air hose is only about $40. Once you plug one into the CPAP you can set it automatic temperature or you cat set it any temperature you want. Something like 65-80f.

People can also change the air pressure if they are not getting good results. If it feels like your not getting enough air, turn it up and see what you AHI or Events numbers change. You might need to lower the air pressure.

They have settings so the CPAP will lower air pressure a little when you breathe out. So it's more comfortable. They have Ramp setting and that set the start pressure lower and builds up to you machine setting. I turned that off, because then if feels like your not getting enough air when you first put mask on.

They make cpaps with two pressure settings if people have more complex sleep apnea. One setting to breathe in then a lower one to breath out.

Why not just pay someone to wear it if your forced to bring in the card, long enough to get some data on the card.
Just toss someone 300 bucks to wear it for a month.

    Exactly!

And you don't have to have a crappy sleep yourself because of it.

When the testing rate is so close to 100% of people that take the test having apnea, that really won't work.
