When I was "training" there was no way I was sleeping in that dudes bed. Slept in the top bunk even when rolling. Mattress was a piece of foam about 2" thick. I lived thru it tho and so will you.

Thanks for the info about a sleeping bag, you two. I've learned in my short years that sharing brain cells like that can cause many brainfarts down the road.

Drty, what I mean by hypoallergenic is that it's made with materials that would be less likely to cause an allergic reaction. When you get a welt from a bug bite, that's an allergic reaction. -
Oh OK. Gotchya. That makes sense as to why someone would ask then.

Thats creepy!

The truck itself isn't hypoallergenic. Most likely it had a sweaty guy living in it,smoking 3 packs a day before you were issued the truck. There is nothing prissy about truck driving. Most companies will issue new truck mattresses when they issue you the truck, but not while in training. These mattresses are typically a foam or spring and foam type mattress. As a company driver I'd suggest you get a nice foam topper for it.jeepnut_nh, Rick_C and Anarane Thank this.
