Sleeper arrangements while training

I hear some companies give out a hygiene kit before going out, a short supply of soap on a rope maybe not a rumor after all.

I would take some mouthwash along also.

 

I'm laughing my ##### off right now! Real unicorns don't have hair.It's a myth! They are clean shaven and have zero magical powers.Man...is she missinformed or what?Leprechauns don't drink either, all they do is make magicly delicious cereal.How silly of a statement was that?

 

ha my trainer was a six and a half foot cowboy with a ten gallon hat and big @@@ belt buckle .....the company had us sign a two page form spelling out what time of harrassment behaviour was unacceptable including hand holding groping kissing etc......i read it real slow for like five minutes ....then looked at him straight in the eyes dude no where in here does it say you can;t $R#@ me in the ###......man i had a blast with my trainer and never looked back

My co driver is 6'7" sleeping is not an issue. Standing can be a different issue. If you have a full condo truck you will be able to stand up and stretch your arms. If you get a flat top truck, you will not be able to stand up. I agree with everything that Mr. Ed said. Your driver trainer should be awake and in the jump seat at first. NEVER EVER sleep in the top bunk if the truck is moving. On down time. my co-driver and I switch who gets the bottom bunk. Who ever drives next, gets the top bunk, so you do not have to wake the other person up, to go down the road.

I never had a trainer. I teamed. Communication is the key. Ask the trainer or teammate where he or she would like you to bed down. As long as you keep talking, you can work out any problem. It is like a marriage in that aspect. I am one of those 11 hour run hard type. No breaks. My teammate adjusted fine but had to use a gallon jug. There was only one bunk but only one of us used it at a time. We would use our own bedding. The run only required us to sleep once and we where back home the next day. Showered at home, washed the sheets and on the road again 20 hours later.

And the only time I had to shower with a trainer was during trucking school at Penn State.

 

Hope you didn't drop the soap...

 

And some people think the grab handles bolted to the walls are for handicapped people!
