Thank your for the Part #'s I will take a look into those. I really would like to maintain the OEM look but do understand that the light may not be as bright.

Also wanted to share the recent dome light I installed in the cab. It is made by Maxxima and is Part # M84434 and has 900 Lumens with an on/off switch. The best part is that the wires were already powered up and at the right location. The down side is that where Pete installed the actual location of where a dome light would go did not line up with the head liner. If I would have installed in their location then it would have landed 1/4 the way on the seam....which would have looked horrible in my opinion. So I moved it back so that I could at least catch 2 screws to the supplied metal support an the back screw is a bolt with a nut on the back side of the headliner.

This light is super bright.... Almost too bright. It is so bright it literally shines on the pavement outside!!! May have to put a colored cover over it to tame her down.

Is the LED replacement at Pete/KW or RV shop? Mine went out a year or two ago & as well refused to pay the $200 Pete price.
Local RV shop was $57 for another fluorescent but a little different size. But if the LED version is the same size, will go with that.

I just did one Saturday, but I forgot to take pics before the truck left. TRP part #LL073105 from a Pete or KW dealer for $35. It is a small flat very bright LED interior light.

Take the cover off the stock one. Take the bulbs out. Cut the wires to the ballast and verify the polarity to hook to the new one. Drill out the rivets to get the ballast off and throw it away. Take the lens off the new LED light (you don't need it), drill 2 holes through them to mount in centered in the stock housing and wire it up. There is an on/off switch on the LED light, make sure it's on. Put the stock lens back on.

You will have a much brighter LED light that look 100% factory. I mentioned in my previous post about not being able to get to the switch, but I was wrong. The factory lamp has a switch on it, so you only have to make sure that the switch on the LED lamp is left on, then you can installed the lens and use the stock switch.

    LBZ Thanks this.

I got mine at Chrome Country in Smyrna, TN, call and talk to Brandon, he can help you out, this is an LED unit and I'm surprised I don't have aircraft trying to land on my truck it's so bright, but I wouldn't go back to florescent ever again.
