Or the guy who builds an el-cheapo home-brew APU, no muffler on the engine, and the thing screams like a jet engine in afterburner all night long.
Sleeping with reefer noise

SERIOUSLY! WTF?? One time I had to switch with a guy at the Kwik Trip in Tomah, WI and I only had about 5 hours to sleep... this rat ####### backed in next to me and fired up this home-made APU. It was like a 8 or 10 horse flat-head Briggs or Kohler engine or something, no muffler. Just a wide open manifold.
It sounded like a Harley running full throttle right next to my cab.
I was so PISSED I was like a micron away from jumping out with my mini-sledge and bashing the #### out of that thing. When I calmed down a bit I took a SERIOUS hard look at my wire cutters, I was thinking about snipping it's ignition wire (carefully).
I ended up spotting an open hole across the aisle and down a bit so I moved.ironpony and Hellraiser79 Thank this. -

LOL. Maybe he should drive for these guys.
Check this truck out. First, notice what type of trailer he's pulling.
Then take a look at the name on the door.
I saw this in 2004 at the Bosselman's in Grand Island, NE

one thing i hate about LTL is that ill know ill never get a peterbilt or a kenworth....not bashing my company for not having them or anything, i just wish i could have one......id run p&d in a stretched out peterbilt if they wanted me toHellraiser79 Thanks this. -
Good luck with that in tight places.

I've always wondered: what is the purpose of a stretch job on a cabover? The purpose of a cabover is to keep the wheelbase SHORT. -
bigger sleeper without violating length limits i guess
-
No I'm talking about leaving the cab alone and simply stretching the frame. It looks kind of cool, but what is the practical purpose? If I had a rig like that I'd put a dromedary box on the frame extension so I can carry tools and a small street legal motorcycle and a ramp or something.
I_HATE_MINIVANS Thanks this.
