And it's a crapshoot if there's someone working there. When Walmart puts cameras in their stores, it's not for the protection of the customer - it's for an entirely different reason, and once that purpose is satisfied, those cameras usually cease to be monitored.

I don't sleep with windows open. Never know if it'll rain, I don't have a dog in the cab to bark at intruders. Flies get in the cab and never leave. If I have to I'll idle, or just use a fan. The "Tracker" brand plastic clamp-on fans that say they draw only 1.2 amps really do only draw 1.2 amps. (I verified this with the $200 digital meter I installed in my camper for monitoring my deep cycle batteries) If you have one of those trucks with the stupid low battery alarm/cutoff things though, the fan might not work because those things are never calibrated to the correct voltage and will go off when the batteries are fully charged.
I pull reefers. Sometimes to run a fan or the auxillary bunk heater when the batteries are old or the stupid low voltage cutoff is being a problem, I'll put the reefer on continuous run mode and hook jumper cables up between the reefer unit battery and the truck. I have the reefer unit on continuous run mode anyway when I'm sleeping (with a cold load) because it drowns out noise from other trucks and doesn't wake me up when it kicks on and off.
