Well the Chicago White Volvo club does live in their own little realiaty. I guess in their word they can change the laws of physics. Not like they care about any other laws.

In Russia, 5th wheel slides you!InTooDeep, AModelCat, whoopNride and 3 others Thank this. -
If your trailer axles are not all the way back, try moving those to put more weight on the tractor's 5th wheel, and take some off the trailer tires. But moving the 5th wheel only adjusts the weight ahead to the steering axle, or back to the drivers.

You can you weight off the trailer to the front if you are not required to keep the trailer axel a set place like how the State want to be, if you put let say 34,000 on your drive you can move more weight to the steer, so tell wise one is that not moving sliding the fifth wheel to the front, there four yon can slide your fifth wheel to make you legal, if you have 34,500 on the trailer and 34,500 on your rear you need to move that one 1000, so you guys are telling you cannot move your fifth wheel to that 1000 to the front, I had to really think about what you guys are saying, on you yes you can do, not just 780 but any one with a sliding fifth wheel can do it,

The only thing that's going to take weight off the trailer axles is if the distance between the kingpin and axles change. X amount of weight pushing down on the 5th wheel will always be X amount of weight pushing down on the 5th wheel. Hypothetically you could slide that 5th wheel so far forward that the trailer touches the cab and you will see NO weight transfer off the trailer axles. This is basic physics.daf105paccar Thanks this. -
You though you saw that.
What you didn’t see was him slide his tandems either before or after to make his weights right after or before sliding his 5th wheel.
You assumed. But it doesn’t work like that . I’ve haebnothint but 780s for a long time myself
