I know I had a feeling that might be what it was however I had never had a fuel leak before and definitely not in rain so I was unaware of the fact that the fuel leak can cause me to slide in the rain. So I felt that maybe I should mention it and to my surprise instead of politely saying that the fuel leak is the cause I get crap for not knowing that was the cause. If I knew the fuel leak was the reason do people really think I would have asked the question in the first place? I guess people expect you to know the answer to your question already though.....

Forgot to say check the tire pressure after you fix the fuel leak there lol hey anything you say can and will be used against you here anyway good for you on being self employed owning your own rig at 22 that's impressive you seem like you have a sense of humor which is a good thing to have as an owner operator in this business

P.s if you need a temp fix on the tank leak check out jb weld

Is the fuel leak anywhere near the tires? Or is it leaking in the middle of the tractor?

Don't think it really matter's that's just like a oil leak a tea cups worth will cover everything behind it at road speed.

Diesel is made out of oil. Of course it's slick. Your spraying hazardous material on the road and could possibly cause another accident. I can't believe a driver doesn't know this. You might want to check your brakes there probably saturated.

Brandoo, fuel leak aside, what kind of tractor are you driving? That can make a difference. Some are more stable than others. I do think that fixing the fuel leak will likely solve the problem. After you do that you may want to clean your drive tires with bleach. It will help restore some of the tackiness, a trick used by rock climbers before tackling slick climbs.
