Those number's are off. 4's are 200, 6's are 500 and fifth wheel is 250. Look at the trailer spec's or call the manufacture.

How much does california fine you for the trl tandems being beyond 40 feet ? And do they charge you by the inch? Foot? Somebody has got to know this. Ive heard that its cheaper to be overweight on the trailer tandems then to have it set beyond 40 feet.

Different state, different setting for tandems.

I slide them all the way up and screw everybody! WTF do I have to drag a 53' throughout the city all day! Rant over. I bought one of those pins you stick in the hole so you just drive into that, helps alot. But those auto pull things are awesome!

If you was heavy on steer and lite on drives, is a issue of 5 th wheel being to far forward , tn has a king pin length law of 41' , meaning that you are allowed to be 41' from king pin to center of trailer axle or center of a group of axles, regardless of the number of axles you have on the rear group . Also, you are allowed 12 k on steer, 34 k on tandem and 42,5 k on tri , more on quads but , still not over 80 k gross on intrestate roads. Some states allow more on state roads.

Slightly off topic but closely related.
Air gauges on air suspensions are nearly priceless.
Get truck loaded, axles loaded correctly.
Compare scale weight to pressure gauge reading a few times to get references. Alil practice and your axle weight will be very close, on psi.
