Yes and no. There is always the possibility. HVDC'S do less than RDCs. But it says Walmart on the door. Even the 3 million mile trucks are not exempt.

They built a reputation of high pay and long term stability. They're getting the new drivers that don't realize it's gone.

The pay is still there. I agree so long as current management stays there is a valid question on stability. But in fairness they have a history of laying off during down times. Alm big co mlm panies do.

They didn't lay any drivers off when it got slow at my old DC, they offered VTO, voluntary time off for anyone who wanted it, no pay but it didn't effect your ADP. Otherwise you'd sit in the break room patiently waiting to be called to the window.

Seasonal slow down yes. But if the economy takes a hit over the children fighting in Washington look for downsizing and transfers. Probably move a lot over to HVDCs to support grocery.Coover Thanks this.
