    bid on a job today from va. just below dc to the middle of ill. 81000 for a fair rate. or so I thought. a carrier from mn. I wont say who but their initials are A.T.S. under cut me by more than half for $3000 per load. YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! time to see where the other half wants to go on vacation at for a good long while.

    I know but they tried to broker them out. just wonder what idiot will jump on them. heck I moved a little 329 cat to day 267 miles for that rate. and a whole lot less in permit cost.

    funny you mentioned daily. a gal I deal with once in a while was showing me some of the rates out of Victoria. some of those loads are still sitting there. but then it could be because you have to swim to get there! LOL

    I just loaded there Tuesday, load in IL on Monday going back down to TX and have another one to pickup out of there. Every creek or river I saw was out of its banks.
