Now we're talking about on a hill? I read back thru some pages and didn't see that as the scenario being discussed.

Being still new to this, I thought they were the courteous drivers trying to help me out by scraping the bugs off my bumper. :)

I choose to drive 62 so I get passed a lot and can't believe how close some drivers cut back in front of me. You really couldn't wait 5 more seconds and given me 10 more feet of room?

Here in Cali you are required to complete your pass in 1 mile or less, you are actually required to be able to do 10 mph faster than the vehicle your attempting to pass, any less they can and do write tickets. Most of these guys trying to pass with a governed truck have no regard for oncoming traffic, pull out in front of whom ever is there and to bad for you. Lock em up to avoid them. They are quick to tell you you should yield to them, WRONG again.

I was saying why he may have wanted to pass you, we weren't talking about passing on a hill. Good try!

I'm through with this thread. Some drivers think they are entitled. The same drivers will tell you "Keep Right Except to Pass" signs mean you keep moving to the right until you take the next exit, because they are entitled to the road space. They think you should get out of their way, no matter the circumstances because they are entitled to go about their way. None of us will ever be able to convince them otherwise.

I washed my socks at the fuel island and even went into Arbies while all the fuel lanes were backed up, just had the nozzle in the tank like I was fueling.:biggrin_2559:
