Thats around 1000 miles of system dispatch. It should be decent money. Do the best you can and if it’s late give dispatch a call to reschedule.
I had a conversation with Scott on Monday. He said he has turned down more freight since the first of the year than at any point in his career. Said they have companies calling with loads he has never heard of before. Like I said before slow or busy for dispatch is a day to day thing.
slow in high point?

oh yeah...I've done lots of 'late loads' for sure....but it's another thing when I'm being told we won't reschedule. Oh well, Mack got it all fixed. Even scratched his head saying, 'WTF were they thinking'. Charlotte took 4 hours and, lucky me, when I backed into the dock(off the street) I got a nice nail in one of my drives. Good thing I was only about 7-8 minutes from the Charlotte term. Had to go there and get a new drive. Didn't know, but found out today Henry from the shop had quit. Things are getting 'interesting' in High Point, that's for sure. Now if only they open up the road, I hate going around the block in this truck. I thought it was gonna be 2-3 weeks it's been coming up to 5 now. GRRRRRRRR

Good news . He is a great mechanic. -
just gonna say this, not gonna mention who, though. Be very 'mindful' what you say around a certain 'driver' out of HP. HE is a newer driver, but runs his mouth. So watch what you say. Out for only himself. Nothing bad has happened to me or anything, but have talked with a few others that he has been quick to 'turn' on.

Isn't High Point the terminal that makes the most revenue? No way things are slow there.
