    Hm, looks like something is probably building up from what I am seeing. I look for one here by New Madrid Fault at any time now...

    WiseOne's Comments, well looks like yesterday, Fri, 28 Nov 08 was an active day for earthquakes. 5 in Arkansas, 1 in Alaska and 1 in California...that we know of so far. Hm, this is interesting.

    They've been saying the New Madrid fault was going to go any minute since I was in grade school. The hype died down, and I haven't heard much about it for a while. If/when the fault goes, Memphis will be in shambles. None of the buildings there are retrofitted for earthquakes, and a lot of them are barely standing as it is. Seeing as how Memphis is a huge shipping hub, it'll be bad for a while.

    Don't forget St. Louis as well, we're along the fault as well and probably every other city along the fault is gonna feel it and may be bad for the Midwest period.

    Memphis having to be rebuilt could actually lead to some good. I enjoyed my time in St. Louis though :)
