There are a few however (including myself way back when) that required a application of a tire thumper or two in a back row attitude readjustment. It will hurt but if you have anything good left inside you as a man or woman it will fix the problem you did become. (Not necessarily YOU the forum poster I quoted)
If it's one thing that I will shout under all the sky above and for all the world to hear me is simply this.
Boss: I don't care your opinion that this trip load will not work out my way.
Me: You are going to not do well, let's do this load that way.
Boss: I am your God and this will do it MY WAY or I will find someone else to drive this thing my way, understood?
fast forward 4 hours later.
Phone call to Boss to inform him the shipper has brought up the exact issue that has pretty much assured the load will not go through like the great poobah thinks it should "His way"
I told you so.
But Bosses never listen to me. They never do it. Even my family they do not listen. Ive learned enough that if no one is listening to what I am trying to teach them to fix before it really gets expensive, then Ima fixing to get out of here and far away because I don't want any part of the inevitable yelling.
=)
No one pays attention to me. Story of my life. I know I am right. He he he.
As far as a few truckers not deserving of respect? That's pretty common. It only becomes a problem when said disrespectful trucker is standing on your food dish proclaiming the virtues of lunch counterism.
Small, but very dertermined

I have a driver who has his wife with him, she sometimes drives (yes she has a cdl and yes she has a bunch of years experience driving) and she is 4' 6". -
My suggestion.
Go the the states DMV, get a CDL manual (Or download from their website) and flip to the pre-trip section.
Go to a dealership and ask if you can look at some trucks and try and d a pre-trip. Climb up in the cab, see if you can adjust the seat to be comfortable. Most likely you can on all of these.
About the only thing I could see you having trouble with is open deck. Even there though I've seen some fairly petite women tossing straps and chains.
For what it's worth, we have a lady at work that is right at 5' and she doesn't have problems.Lilone2018 Thanks this. -

Size has nothing to do with strength! I’ve seen a female state trooper take down a very large man, she could have made him scream Mommy if she wasn’t in uniform. Might have been the element of surprise, it was such a fast and smooth move. Very well trained and conditioned.
Take a look at this video, she came over from Poland to Canada, she had already been a truck driver in Poland. She definitely was driven, she’s been working continuously since getting her license in Canada. I don’t think there’s a truck she couldn’t drive. See what she’s driving now, after being an ice road trucker. She even subtitles her videos in English!

Taught the wife to drive waaaaaay back in cab over days. We had windows down go fast air conditioning, power ASSISTED steering, spring suspension, no easy pedal cluth, 32 inch flat top sleeper. And she was 5feet even and "let' say not tiny" ANYWHERE. She never got her cdl, dont think cdl was out back then. But she drove from Ct to Ca plenty of times. She dont drive anymore, except when i make her take truck to the shop. But my point is GURRRL YOU CAN DO IT!!!
