What you want. Over the road? Regional? Local?
Where do you live?
Many companies out there. Most aren't megas.
What type of trucking you looking for? Reefer, Tanker, Dry Van, Flat Bed?

As far as training. They'll train you. Just like you just got your CDL. No big deal.
They will train you anyways. Even if you do a refresher.

I would try danny herman. they are out of Tennessee but have a term in nogales. I know a guy who runs dh and lives in phoenix. he goes home regularly cause they run through phoenix a lot. dont get me wrong, he does not stay home, just stops there. he does his home time every 3 weeks.

 

btw, danny herman does not do north east or northwest.

 

Its going to take some work on your part to search through the trucking database in your area. Then you really need to hang around some local truck stops and talk to some local drivers. That said, getting freight out and back to AZ is easy if you can handle reefer, box or skateboards. The only issue is lack of experience in The present pulling a 53 ft trailer and being able to do Long Hauls. Everyone wants a min of 1 to 2 years exp. Basically, the mega is the first place newbies wind up.

 

Maybe Paul Transportation will work with you , I don't know , but you can ask. They're flatbed.
