I have a 2005 Freightliner Century Class S/T, Detroit 60 series smartshift with the clutch pedal with no fault codes . When I first started it ,then put it in gear it shift fine I can drive for hours. When I need to take a break turn it off . then try to get it to go into gear it won't. I would have to sit for a while and then it will go in gear. Do the XY Shifter suppose to display fault codes?
    Please can someone help me

Sounds to me like something is failing from heat. Or perhaps a ground issue. Here is the as2 instructions if the trans is as3 let me know. The codes are different. 20210612_072656.jpg
