Like all electronic stuff, they are completely worthless after 1 year.

No, if I break it, I’ll just punch an endangered sea turtle to make myself feel better, then buy a new one.

I have a Samsung Gear S2 Classic. I put a rubber band with a stainless clasp on it, although the watch isn't waterproof. There are a HUGE amount of apps and faces available from elegant to simple to stupid. The only thing I don't like is the alarm is a bit too soft... although when I use it I do tend to wake up shortly after the alarm time so maybe it is sufficient. The alarm on the Fitbit I had before was much better.

Prior to the above I had a Timex Expedition like the one below. I used the stopwatch and timer quite a bit at work as I needed to time production processes in an outdoor construction environment. The dual time zone and alarm were also useful. I mainly do office type work now, so the Samsung is okay, but I would resurrect the Timex for any type of outdoor work.

If you've got money you dont need, I'm accepting donations.

What exactly is cool about a smart watch? Besides looking like Dick Tracy of course.

Smart watches are for people too lazy to pull their phones out of their pocket

For me there are certain apps I would like available while driving like the Spotify for example. I leave phone off and locked up while driving.

So looking at your wrist is not distracting?
I'd say go for a phone mount and a headset you can speak commands too.

There's an app I believe it's called Google auto or something. Just activate your mic on your headset and say play "song" or something like that. I haven't used it in a while because I discovered I hate having my phone dictate what I can or can't do.

    IluvCATS Thanks this.
