Smoking Brakes

    Brand new volvo tractor less than 500 miles and the brakes are smoking. What could cause this and what should I do?

    Are they dragging when you are driving? They may be improperly adjusted. If smoking when driving on flat ground do not continue unless you want to burn it to the ground. Get it to a shop where they can be properly adjusted. Should not be a big deal.
    Disc or drum?
