Hehe got the Unilever $100 Amazon bonus code...for a load I did in NOVEMBER! And dispatch called and woke me out of a sound sleep to tell me... instead of just dropping a message on the PPN.

9pm and they're making phone calls to the drivers...

    Was not happy...but $100 is $100.

And then claim that nobody told them the trailer got damaged when the truck burned to the ground.

When I was getting ready to leave Crete, I T-called a load in Wilmer, then bob-tailed to Poly's facility for my face to face interview, then bobtailed to Poly's doctor for my physical and drug test, then bobtailed back to Wilmer for my next load...all in a bright red Crete truck.

When I was fracking, I drove the crew van loaded with 7 guys to the new frack company in town and drove around their yard. 6 of us quit and went to new company.

LOL. No. He had it way too easy and was afraid if he went to new company they would actually make him work.

Lonesome, dwells40, Chieftains and 4 others Thank this.

Load to Kalamazoo-zoo-zoo ended up being a drop/hook at the receiver (load info said live unload, but I have never live unloaded there, ever). I guess if the info is wrong, then having it wrong like that beats the other way around. I had a choice of an old 838--- trailer or an older 837--- trailer. The 838--- was cleaner inside, but had a missing mudflap and what appeared to be an oil streak coming down the front of the trailer near where the compressor is located. So, the 837--- it is. Now the fun part. I am picking up at the Eggo plant on the south side of Grand Rapids. The place that requires that all trailers be washed out, and you have to have a receipt to show them if they ask. Well, it's the weekend, and the trucker path app shows every truckwash anywhere near me is closed on the weekend. So it looks like a 50+ mile trip to Benton Harbor is in my future.

My little yellow, engine shaped night light went out yesterday, so that's good. But now my bunk heater keeps throwing the red light about every other day. Thank god it's almost time to quit using that #### thing for the season.

I have had my check engine light on for 3 weeks now and so far trucks been running smooth.

Just finished delivering to the HEB DC in Houston and am parked at the flying J on i45.

DMV office just 3 miles south of me and here's hoping I pass it in one go. Even tho I've memorized the 170 different Texas hazmat questions from that hazmat theory study guide. They can always throw some curve ball questions.

Gonna be busy today reading then rereading the hazmat section of the handbook.

Family also thought I was going on a cruise when I asked them to meet me at a truck stop with my passport in hand :p

If Texas is anything like Maryland you better make sure you read the WHOLE book. Up here they like to put questions on the test that a company driver wouldn’t even need to know the answers to, like how long records of spills are to be retained be the company.

For all the trouble and inconvenience....a driver goes through to get hazmant endorsement...you'd think driver would get more cpm for it...but not in Creffer world...even though I'm sure Creffer gets more pay for a hazmat load...thats why no hazmat license for me
