Found another washout that we have an account with. Across the street from the 76th street truck stop in Byron Center, MI (Grand Rapids) there is a tire dealer called Tredroc, if you enter their lot from the driveway between their building and the Preferred Truck Service next door, then circle around the dealer's building to the last bay, they do washouts during the week. I had always used the Preferred washout next door, didn't even realize this place did washouts let alone had an account with the company.

 

Shaffer also has an account with this location in that area as well

 

This is the setup otr drivers should be provided with!

 

Passed my hazmat test. Was super easy, like too easy. Only 3 answer per question and no difficult questions.

 

Went thete, closed on weekends and the 24/7 self serve no longer open, or else someone stole their hose.

 

No per diem there's a few transparent threads from white truck wmt trucks I know they the drivers fought for equal pay raises and finally had a .05 across the board bump (even though some dcs short of drivers offer up to .095 as an incentive)... wmt is a company I'm looking into, fuel and ltl carriers also on my list but yea wmt supposedly pays for all your work time... but supposedly micromanaging does take place... we have billboards on 80 (wy) and 25 (co) claiming 100k for our wmt dedicated accounts in cheyenne and n.platte with 2 days off

 

Finally at home. Have 2 separate appoints tomorrow. For what ever reason you can't get different fingerprinting done at the same place. One place will handle my twic while the other will handle the hazmat. If all goes well, should have everything by July.

 

In FL, TWIC can only be done at a TWIC office, and Hazmat can only be done at a DMV. Too bad they can't have a TWIC office in the major cities in/near the DMV. Or have a box to check on your hazmat form that says ''I will be obtaining my TWIC within xx days" so they can forward the background check results to TWIC
