I have been in my new role for a month. 11,000 miles during that time. No shortage of loads to move. I have only had to ask the boss to take loads off due to delays and shop visits. All my loads have gone from one company facility to another. I haven’t been to a single customer site and haven’t had to cross the border. Things are good!

Only from being dropped off of the back of a moving yard dog.

I didn't know we had solar panels on the roof of our reefers...I wonder when we're gonna start seeing them on our trucks like some of the other megas have started doing to further cut down on idle time.

But the down side is, every load has the diamond shaped 'look at me' targets on your trailer. I haven't hauled a placarded hazmat load in a while, and hope I don't have to haul any in the future.

Because this trailer appears to be out in the yard and not parked in line I assume that a yard dog slip up or an unsecured 5th wheel.

Received the preplans at 14:50 yesterday, accepted them, but haven't been dispatched on them yet. Maybe they're waiting to see if something better appears before sending me my 1st load.

I had one with 10 placards on each side yesterday. No big deal. Even had to go onto a scale with it.

I thought the company fuel system was set up so we could buy reefer fuel or DEF whenever we needed it. Once I finally got my load info sent to me, I stopped at a Love's to get some DEF and the transaction kept failing because I was at the wrong location.. My last 2 fuel stops were company terminals along with this one is as well. I am down to 1/8 of a tank of DEF...Do we have DEF inside the shops at our yards?

    Friend and Knucklehead Thank this.

You can get DEF at any loves TA out here or PFJ… Call your home terminal something wrong with your card or something… and yes, the shops do have DEF
