One thing I have found about PBBlaster is that it seems to not freeze, at least I have yet to see it do so.

White lithium grease seems to last and not attract dirt. I keep them in the box when not in use.

I use atf in a little goldenrod trigger pump oiler for my ratchets. We are sporadically supplied wd40, and it gums up after a while. The atf works like a charm. I just lubed the pivots on my snaps last nite, seems like it made it easier to cam over.

Luckily, all out equip rides around underneath a fastrak slider hanging off the bulkhead, so less elements to worry about.

Ratchets, my daughter and I went out and used some liquid wrench and got 5 of the 7 broke free. Of the two I couldn't get broke loose, I bent the handle of one, the other is soaking in a bath of degreaser

It's not bent, it's ergonomic, once you get it freed up

    Let em soak.

Mine were choked with rust and dirt inside.

Once cleaned up,.. I sprayed the threads with Rustolium. So far so good. I know they will eventually freeze up again.

    LOL

I did that to one of mine. Being the impatient old crotchety person I am. I stuck the handle in the stake pocket of my trailer. Then put a 4 ft pipe wrench on the loop where the hook attaches. Twisted the loop for the chain hook.

Wifey being a smart a s s,. "There,.. are you happy now?" Me: No,.. I havent tried the other side yet. LOL

My daughter was sitting there when it bent over, her eyes got all big. She runs inside telling my wife "holy #### mom! Dad can bend steel with his bare hands!" Lol
