Sneaky Company!!!

My hubby's company is doing the same thing but they told all the drivers. I don't think it is right they did not tell you but I think so many companies are having to do this to save on gas. SUCKS but they have to do what they have to do.

 

Thats life Company wants to save money and if the drivers lose money O well Its their Trucks and They dont have to tell are ask your permission to do anything to them.Most big companys want to make money no matter what thats how they go to be big in the fist place.I worked for a company that denied are appealed everyones Unemployment whether they were layed off ,fired or quit.Reason Owner said I can not draw it so I am not paying it.Sounds like a great Man doesnt he??

 

It's true that a business owner cannot draw on UI. I pay into it but, I cannot draw on it. When I asked EDD why I have to pay into the system and not have the ability to draw the money, the reply was that "Business owners make lots of money and why should they take the money that belongs to the workers". Real nice huh? I am trying to find a way to become exempt from paying into UI.


I am an O/O, so I must be rich...right?????

 

get a workers comp excemption form, they cost $150 every two years in mt, and i dont hafta pay any workers comp

ill ask tommorrow where ya get them from....some state office i persume

 

another reason for me to leave California bronc...

 

best choice of my life was to leave cali and go back to mt....

i dont know personally hows he's doin, i dont even take loads to ca anymore.......small amounts of money just are not worth the headache's
