They will use the capital raised to underbid and gain market share. It's about revenue not profit for now. It's why transportation stocks are so horrible. The growth will be in Intermodal, wharehousing, and final mile. Plenty of competition there too. The only question is would you want to bet your money on SNI in this market. Idk. I do know the focus won't be on general OTR freight.

Don't read to much into price action for the first 30 days after an ipo. The underwriter can use this time to "stabilize" the stock from either the upper or lower ranges.

PS. If the underwriter mispriced to the low side the stock would "pop". If over priced it would fall soon after issuance. -
