I put on a drag the other night in San Antonio. Too much traffic, and way too slick. Last thing I wanted was to lay on the brakes for some reason, and put some guy's wife and kids into a guard rail.

I wouldn’t put a drag chain on unless I was in WA or OR and going past a checkpoint. Even after ID started saying you needed them on I-90 we all just kept throwing our 3 railers and rolling.

I forget the year, but they came out with an official “chain requirement” for Lookout and 4th of July. I doubt anyone that runs there often pays much attention to it.

    Good reason to never team.

    Oh D. Tibbitt...
I’m delivering in Wenatchee WA on Thursday. Then get a load heading back to Denver. Don’t know where the load will come from?
I’m wondering if I shouldn’t bother to wash my truck?

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

Im not sure.. I was debating the same thing to myself.... Should i waste 80 bucks on a truck and trailer wash only to get it covered in dirt and salt.... I think i will hold off till some more warmer weather and melts the snow

Got my truck washed last week and have managed to keep it clean so far. I even went over Donner Pass today on my way to Denver, and I fully expected the snow melt to make a mess of things, but I was nice and dry for the entire drive. I may hit some rain/snow mix on my way back to CA on Thursday..
