    dunno which part is crap, i'm not sayin snoring automatically = sleep apnea, just that you don't really know unless tested

    using cpap=no more snoring

    My husband snores so loudly that I don't know how he manages to sleep through it..lol. Sometimes when I am driving I can even hear him over the music and engine noises.

    When we are shut down and trying to sleep (truck shut off) I use a noise machine that I plug in to the inverter. It helps to create the same effect of the engine noise and becomes a monotonous noise that eventually fades to the background and his snoring is masked by it. Bed bath and beyond sells them.

    Before we went on the road for a solid year I mostly slept on the couch, I didn't have the heart to wake him up, and make him move to the couch. He worked a really labor intensive job, and he needed a good nights sleep...it wasn't his fault he snores after all. Bless his heart...

    Anyway, I bought one after trying just about everything else..sleeping pill, tv and fan, earplugs, breathe rights for him, and it was a little difficult to get used to at first because I like silence..but once i got used to it...i slept like a baby.

    Not true i've been in 2 studies for people who snore that were 2-4 weeks long and they used 3 different cpap machines and none of them worked and ever since I used the last one occasionally when i'm sleep I have severe nose bleeds. They did nothing for me but make a problem worse.

    ok, if you have a prob with/or using a cpap machine, of course that will not help snoring

    no doubt about it also, getting used to sleeping with cpap doesn't always go smooth,

    i also had probs with the nose thang but went alot better with the thingamajig that covers the nose and mouth

    I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and wear a full face mask.I didnt take it serious until I went in for outpatient surgery and ended up in hospital for not breathing.The mask does take some getting used to but if you find the right one you'll sleep better.Ive always snored
