I believe the way Wyoming rates a light trailer on a semi is at 10k or less.

 

well they lifted the restriction on 25 so now waiting on 80, wind gust still at 45-50 ahead of me, i guess just kick back till morning and hope for the best. i got about 2 good hours of sleep last night kept checkn the reports. My appointment was at 8,

Actually the problem was just plain stupidity. I KNEW what I was driving and what the wind was doing. And I knew there were icy spots. . .

Of course not. They don't want you to quote them. If you make it OK, then you were not too light. But if you DON'T make it OK, then you must have been too light. . .

Must have a load of potato chips, feathers, or dispatcher brains!

 

I asked the same question and it doesn't matter what state you're in a light trailer is a light trailer but basically anything under 30k wyoming won't give ua direct weight to them a light trailer is if u get blown over and if u get blown over at max weight they consider it light stupid if u ask me but that's wyoMing

 

I sat a month ago with 25k it said no light trailers and I kept rolling my trailer came off the ground and I sat for two days they want u to roll but I'm not becoming a statistic that was back when colorado had 100mph gusts but I was in wyoming 75mph gusts 50_60 winds

 

Very dangerous wind conditions in wyoming & colorado. The state line at i25 was and may still be closed to high profile rigs. I saw 2 tractor trailers turned over in the median.

 

Well, I saw no less than 10 trucks & trailers turned over today on I25 & I80. Crazy dudes who risked driving through this wind today with light loads.

 

I am still sittn here, i guess wise choice. I was hoping to go but who knows.

 

What I heard is the wind is going to continue like this through about 9 tonight.
