OK, Now I am making the assumption (to use a bad word here,) that pbj has something to do with a juvie record, and not a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. This is true of most criminal arrests. However DUI varies with state laws. Traffic offenses are still shown on your MVR.

You need to go to your driver's license office and get a copy of your MVR so you know for sure what is and is not on there.

DO NOT be fooled into thinking that this won't show up somewhere else, even if it does not show up on your MVR.

DO NOT LIE OR "FAIL TO DISCLOSE" ON YOUR APPLICATION!

Hey Rollover, I can't argue with the logic of your post on driving DUI. But from what I am seeing in his posts, this is something that happened when he was very young. In fact, it looks like he is STILL very young. My guess is that it is gonna take him a few more years before he can be hired anyway.

NO WAY should driving DUI be tolerated, for any reason. However, I'm betting that he knows he made a stupid mistake, and hopefully he learned from it. KIDS DO STUPID THINGS SOMETIMES.

First thing. QUIT DRINKING AND DRIVING! Second, you were lied to! If you told the school recruiter that you have an axe hanging out of your head and you were bleeding to death they will tell you that it is no problem.

Sorry Benny, you might have to go into some other line of trucking that isn't so fussy. See if you can get on with a grocery or rock hauler. The grocery might over look it or even put you on probation, but you are going to work your fanny off unloading trucks, but this is how many climb their back into the trucking industry. I hope you find something.

But you have got to keep your nose clean! If you are lucky enough to get a job driving and decide to go out and get. plastered, it is going to go against your CDL. Anything you do from here on effects your CDL. If you are riding a motorcycle and get a speeding ticket for popping wheelies down the freeway it effects your CDL! If you fart crooked, it effects your CDL.

Look into grocery hauling. Man I wish you all the luck in the world, I wish you had come here first. Recruiters lie, they will tell you anything to get you to commit.

You might have to relocate, but it beats gathering carts at "The Walliest of Worlds".

sorry for the delay, and just to clear things up thanks to all of you mentioning not to drink and drive, yeah i think i learned that. im one who has to learnard way, it was a stupid thing to do and i know this. secondly pbj is probation before judgement, and after looking into it a bit iv found that there is really no record of this once you complete probation. it also states that it will not show that i was convicted of the dui being givin the pbj. still doing ome research and ill get back to ya

I would even try Charitable Orginizations like the Salvation Army,Ect. I know their good at helping Folks out. The thing to remember is that you have a CDL, now you need to do everything you can to make it work for you! Good luck Bro and dont give up!:yes2557:

I had a couple misdemeanors that were adjudification withheld. They were so long ago that I forgot about them. They had never shown up on any background check...until I applied with this company. My recruiter asked me about them before they sent me a ticket.

All I can say is if you lie about it make sure you have enough money to get home on because they will tell you to get off the property immediately. No joke.

One guy in my orientation actually tried to hide 4 duis. Can you believe that?
