The first few weeks are exciting and stressful for sure ! Once you get to know your truck and hopefully get a little confidence in it you can relax a little.
I'll buy the Rand McNally from you if you want, does $250 include shipping ? Keep in mind using maps and navigation on your phone does burn up data.

thanks man... i meant i was driving 65 mph . the load was required to be on stop/start 55 degrees .
inside the truck i really dont know what it was .. i have windows down during day time driving -

I would run the numbers on an apu before buying one. I mean if your a driver that needs 72.5 degrees to sleep then by all means get one. But if your flexible on temps or running places extreme temps aren't and issue I would think on it first. I have zero experience with one but I do know they cost money to buy cost money to fix and still burn fuel. So do the numbersfirst.

yep, apu's seem to be costing more to keep running then they do saving fuel.
throw a few more batteries on and a invertor.
