The first few weeks are exciting and stressful for sure ! Once you get to know your truck and hopefully get a little confidence in it you can relax a little.

I'll buy the Rand McNally from you if you want, does $250 include shipping ? Keep in mind using maps and navigation on your phone does burn up data.

Sometimes the rubber push in caps, as they age they dry, shrink, deteriorate. $2 for a new one fixed a leaky hub I once had..

I would run the numbers on an apu before buying one. I mean if your a driver that needs 72.5 degrees to sleep then by all means get one. But if your flexible on temps or running places extreme temps aren't and issue I would think on it first. I have zero experience with one but I do know they cost money to buy cost money to fix and still burn fuel. So do the numbersfirst.

That's what happens when you shop at a TA instead of a local Napa, truckpro, or fleetpride who have to compete for biz instead of taking advantage of captive truckers.

yep, apu's seem to be costing more to keep running then they do saving fuel.

throw a few more batteries on and a invertor.

some maps and navigation don't require data.
