Exactly. Its VERY simple. There r those who dont like to pay attention and be good at what they do by taking some pride in what u do. When they get jealous is when they start calling u a super trucker is one of they things that I have learned. LOL.

Yup. I didn't know that never getting lost and never making a wrong turn qualified me as a 'supertrucker' until this thread. Oh, and I've been driving locally in a metropolitian area almost my entire career also. Never had the need for a GPS and never once got lost. Not being sure of your surroundings doesn't mean you are exempt from paying attention to street signs and following speedlimits.

id try knight transportation, as well as werner. when you call them explain about the gps. they may overlook it because PAM didnt put exactly what the violation was. as for hireright, i just got my hireright dac report in today in the mail after 2 weeks of waiting and they dont have anything on it from 2 of the companies i stayed at the longest. companies i have applied to see it on my dac but hireright didnt send me a complete dac because both companies like i said werent even on there, so now i have to order another one... you may also want to try us xpress and heartland.. i dont know who you all tried so far, you can also go to classajobs.com and apply there and it sends your app out to everyone... any questions send me a PM...

Never once did I say perfect. Just saying it is VERY easy to pay attention out here on the road. Its a POC. Every time going into Chicago, I have ALWAYS called the local police dept and ask them. They know their area better for a T/T than anyone. NEVER left a shipper without calling receiver or local PD and PLANNING and routing my whole trip. When u take pride in what u do, its oh-so simple. So...NOT BS.

If all it takes to be perfect is not getting lost you can count me in! I drove from 1996 to 2001. I mostly hauled cars but have also hauled all kinds of freight. I didn't have a GPS unit back then. I never got lost. I always knew where I was going before I left my previous stop. It's really not that hard to not get lost.
