Well just keep knocking on doors and pounding the pavement. Just because you have a mark on your DAC does not mean no one will hire you. It just means you have not found anyone that will hire you yet. Hireright is not the last word in employment. Have you tried looking on Craigslist? I noticed a lot of ad's for your area on there.

Check with Werner. Their recruiter came to my school and almost sounded desperate to fill spots for their dedicated account with Dollar General. It runs from the DG DC in Ardmore, OK to various DG stores in surrounding 5 States. A trip usually has 3 or 4 drops that you unload. But the freight is in bins with rollers and pays extra for the unloading. It did not sound too bad, actually, and it would be a job! It should be worth a phone call.

    I, I, I, I don't understand.

I use the GPS on my phone every time I go somewhere I've never been and sometimes even when I've been there before.

I'm not a truck driver (yet).

The phone tells me exactly how to get to the address with rare exception. Roughly 99 times out of 100.

    Now, that being said.

If I was in a tractor / trailer, I would want a mapping system that gave me a truck route, not a car route.00

What would be the purpose of not being able to use a personal GPS system?

Do companies have a contract with QC that states using personal GPS is a violation of the contract between the carrier and QC?
