So frustrated...PLZ HELP! Fired for using GPS

    Well a job at Prime would be better (I think) than no job at all. Sometimes it's about getting your time in at least somewhere until you can find greener pastures. Plus it would not be up to Pam to say if she has her CDL or not, she either has it or she don't and her last company would have no say in the matter.

    I have my TX issued cdl...wat I don't have is my certs from c1 saying I completed the course with the 120 required hours...and I will never get tht :( so its like I never went to school or anything kinda like I jus jumped into a truck an naturally knew how to do it hahaha

    With a phone call, it's very easy for someone to say no. Go with applications on paper or online & explain the DAC on the application so there are no surprises. Start with Paschall Truck Lines & Western Express. Check Careerbuilder and Indeed websites. Also try Dynamic Transit.

    Would there be anyone from your former employer that could give a written recommendation of your tenure there? That might help, too. You could maybe include it with your application to a new company?

    That was pretty low of your co-driver, I drive for PAM and my DM asked did I have a GPS on the truck to help my wayward co-driver. So idk why there was an issue with you finding something on the GPS, picture or no picture.

    Yea idk either..they said tht since I was touching it tht it was "hand held" who knows haha my DM couldn't even believe they did tht an actually apologized for putting someone on my truck tht has jus left his trainer.. Gud luck finishing ur year :)

    the handheld stuff falls right in the same lines of texting thats y most companies that have qualcomm have a safety lock on it while driving...
