Thanks for the info, putting Sapps in the phone now. That one in Nebraska City is going to be pretty nice when it's done (if it isn't by now). I've always liked the one in PA as well. Commerce city, CO, not so much:biggrin_2559:

But Commerce City is such a paradise! You can fuel, eat and do a pee test, all in one convienient location. What could be better, then that, Driver?

If you are paying fuel tax then cheapest pump price is not always cheapest to you.

Look at IN. I can get fuel for $3.95 in IL and then across boarder get fuel for $3.89 in IN. But I have $.17/gal more fuel tax in IL.

    rbht Thanks this.

Well considering he stated that he was going to LEASE a truck with a company...oh well I will shutup now. Obviously I have no idea about what I'm talking about.

That's right he did. I am leased to Landstar. Others are leased here are leased to other carriers. That has nothing to do with how he purchased the truck ( cash, financed, independent lease, or company sponsored lease purchase). Even still for the l/p folks, if you pay the difference in fuel taxes, to make the most profit, you should follow my advice above.

I was not being condescending. Over here at Landstar we get load advances on our Camdata cards and that is how you buy your fuel. Most guys on a L/P have just a company fuel card. They buy fuel and then it is taken out of their weekly pay. That is what I was talking about, hence why I said they don't k ow about having money on the card.
