So how do you plan fuel stops?

    there is a truckstop north of albuquerque. they are usually around 25 cents cheaper then the city itself. it's an ambest chain.

    if you come in on the 550 from durango and hit the 25. it's about 6 miles north. can't remember the name right off hand. i would stop there for fuel and buffet dinner at the casino. on the way up to CO.

    i've usually topped off before going through OR into WA. so i have enough to get back to ID. at least. but like to make it back to yard if i can where it's much cheaper then ID.

    I have dual 120's...Always try and fill up before 7-800 miles. I use an app called Fuelbook...pretty handy.
