Always sketches me out hauling suicide coils , i never hit 60mph in the city , dont want to have to break hard with them, pisses ppl off but id rather piss em off than kill myself.. Theres alot of loads like that though, guys thats never pulled flats wouldnt understand what its like havin suicide coils or steel plate or stuff thats just waitinfor u to brake hard so it can kill you,its a humbling feeling when u get to thinkin about it

Id rather pull coils every day than greasy bars. Almost every thing we put on our deck can kill us, which is why you don't cut corners on securement.

Don’t pay much attention to him, he makes most of it up.

Ive done pretty much whatever that is possible with a reefer. Ive even hauled brass rolls and coil in it for ammunition once or twice.

Strapping a load is a minor physical problem but a good mental detail work to be sure you have it right. Especially on the occasional load in which you cannot crank down like you would on steel coil.

Well... I think he’s a male and probably had a license so some of it’s true.

Coils are no different than anything else. I’d rather haul them than bagged mulch or a dozen other things.

They aren’t bad. Keep the chains tight and haul ###. Anything will kill ya if you hit a ditch hard enough.

SAR, stwik, cke and 2 others Thank this.
