You're going to run an xlr condensor microphone in big truck?

It's going to be in my personal vehicle just like this one which I've been using in the past.

actually that thing works great in the big truck since it's noise cancelling

Ive had thoughts of running one of my AT-2100's in my mobile but wasn't sure how it would sound.

High Fidelity audio starts within the radio itself.
sometimes it's best just to keep a stock microphone on a stock radio unless you want to invest money in having someone modify your radio to work with a studio microphone.
there's a bunch of guys in Europe trying to play with different microphones on the anytone at-6666 and none of them sound half as good as the stock microphone on my anytone radio which has been modified.

I just got the official word. It works great on properly tuned or stock radios.
If anyone is having problems with it,
    Blame your technician.
It sounds much nicer than the RK56.
If your radio squeals it's due to the higher frequency response. Turn talkback down or off. Problem solved. Sounds better than the Ranger SRA 198

    Dirtymartini15x Thanks this.

And if you still have squeal after turning off the talkback, try muting/turning off your stereo. You might be bleeding through it as many are not properly RF shielded these days, especially the cheaper head units. Even my stock Pro520 bleeds over my stereo.

    slim6596 and rabbiporkchop Thank this.

In a crapcadia truck your cb can easily feedback and transmit thru the 6by9's up in the top of the bunk. Ive blown the fuse a couple of times in these trucks I don't replace the fuse... ends the 6by9 problem I don't care to hear my cb thru the stereo speakers..... can't justify batteries in a cb mic. At all its just not for me.................I want my cb to transmit thru my external speaker and that's it.... such a great truck a crapcadia is I'm thinking no it's a p.o.s

This microphone makes people with high pitch voices sound even more high pitched and nasily. Not a fan personally. But if you don't care how you sound and want to get out as far as possible I'm sure it's a great mic.

Diesel Dave and bored silly Thank this.
