Not necessarily so,I was an ADD student before they called it that and I dropped out of high school my sophomore year but I had my GED and a job before the rest of my class graduated.
Eventually I had an office job doing CAD design work designing upper end cabinetry for high profile clients who were getting high end custom homes built.
I often was asked where I went to college lol,I didn't, I just worked my way up from cabinetmaker to designer the old school hands on way.
I am mostly self taught on the computer,I got a little coaching with the CAD design programbut overall figured it out on my own.
My point is a lot of us GED holders had issues making it through school not because we weren't intelligent enough to do the work but because a classroom environment simply didn't work for us.
It's hard to explain but ADD is a focus issue not an intelligence issue and those of us who suffer with it are often labeled as dumb or just barley making it when it's just not the case.
I took longer in CDL class to finish my classroom tests often being the last to finish but I scored at the top of my class in all areas and I never failed a test.
So I noticed......... But.....

So you're going to assess my abilities, education and intelligence based upon whether I capitalize the first letter of my sentence and if I put a period on the end?
Sometimes when I post on this forum I'm tired, sometimes I'm lazy, sometimes I just don't care. This isn't school; it's not a literary forum nor is it a job application. And it certainly isn't my job.
I wish I had as little to worry about as some of you people and thus had the time to sit in judgment of others over their writing skills. Perhaps you might wish to ask yourself what's more important: content or grammar.
Some might even wish to ask them self what is it about them self that they find so inadequate that they must attack other's writing skills in order to feel better about them self.SweetSouthernRide and Strider Thank this. -
Thanks a lot, Mods, for changing the name of the thread. Now it looks like I'm calling the O/P names.

wow--judging somebodys driving skills by the way they compose a sentance--well that is a first for me--i have seen oldtimers who couldnt read very good and barely write--i could only wish to be able to drive as good as them
and now i sure am not going to capitilize or use proper punctuation--or even spelling--mainly cause i dont care to--and i really dont care what others think of my writing skills
but on the other hand-- i can drive--not be late with appts.--no accidents and i can fix the truck if it breaks down---now if only i could get my writing skills up to par --i guess i could be a good truck driverTexas-Nana, Scarecrow03 and SweetSouthernRide Thank this. -
