Well western express wants me. Star transportation in Nashville wants me. Fryemiller wants me. SNI still sends me my daily email.
My friend works at Werner and will be training me. No getting stuck with some kid who has less real world experience then me.
Nice sign on bonus for the account.
Any work place is what you make of it.
So I think I'm going with Werner

You list these companies as if you think they want you cause you're someone special. get real. you're just a number to any bid company. As soon as one driver quits there's 100 more to fill the spot, you're just #101. All truck companies will hire as many drivers as possible. Werner easily would bring in over 300 new drivers each week because they knew many would not make it through orientation & many failing the physical or would quit before they graduated from OTR training. After thinking they're hotshot as new drivers many would have accidents & be forced to quit. I myself had one trainer quit after me being on his truck only 3 days; why, got he got his final speeding ticket & left before being booted out. Following the money can sometimes get you into a heap of trouble. Seems like you don't want to listen to most drivers advice here, so go ahead, you'll do what you want anyway won't you?

Wow. Well how many drivers have a clean driving record? And a DCA for that matter? He is a #### hard worker and busted his ### to get to where he is. He doesn't cut corners. He will excel in any company he chooses.Strider, G.Anthony and BostonTanker Thank this.

Aww, well, I've been driving trucks since I was 18. Had my class B the last 5 years. Just curious sunshine. You ever drive a twin steer 5 axle rotator? The truck itself weighs 80k without putting a truck on the lift. I've pulled 200k. You ever drive and work 36 hrs straight with no sleep? Been there done that. Companies are desperate for drivers with clean mvr, clean DAC, no accidents, no tickets, and actual real world experience. All trucking companies suck in one form or another. Stand out and get treated with respect and better accounts. Suck the wind out of the joint and get stuck in Timbuktu Washington, with no freight for 5 days before they pay dead head. I bet I can go to Werner, Western express, jb hunt, swift, prime, any of them and excel. You know why? Attitude and knowledge.G.Anthony and Boston_Tankers_Girl Thank this.

So tell me, should I go apply for TNMT's ghost fleet as a newly licensed driver? I mean that's what you did, right?Boston_Tankers_Girl Thanks this.

Thank you. Now what does it pertain to this conversation?

You will get nowhere on this site arguing that Werner is a good fit for you or anyone. Their well deserved reputation is that they are one of the top junk companies.
I don't get why someone with as much experience as you claim would want to have an uphill battle off the start but best of luck to you.
There are thousands of good companies out there that need good employees.KenworthGuyNH, TruckDuo, slim shady and 2 others Thank this.
