I remember back in 914, we didn't use horse and carriage. We used dragons!!! Those were the days!!! Flying 200 miles in only an hour... And selling dragon eggs ooo boy pardner I was rich way back then. No regulations. No speed limits. No log books. And if anyone disagreed with you, you fed them to your dragon. *Beep*

Never mind the breaking in part. The trailer was sometimes left against a open dock with the BOL in the nose. Marked as dropped at delivery over satellite.

Leave the office people to use the telephone to argue the details of that little completed delivery. Ok dispatcher, bobtail here. What's next. Literally no problems.

One very special night Im alone at a shipper which was a large mill. Im eyeing the product that is neatly arranged, labeled, wrapped, strapped and ready to put onto my trailer. It's not going anywhere without people.

I dug up a suit from the far office corner told him that there is no people to put my stuff on the trailer so it will be on time for the customer. Is he willing to literally take a hit for a very very overdue shipping of that stuff there on his dock? (I was getting ready to go to sleeper right next to it to maybe have people show up in the morning on Monday am (It was a friday night)

To his credit the suit got into his forklift saying he does not know to put what where on my deck. I told him don't worry about that you put it where I point.

He did. A little bit raggedly. I shorted fuel a little bit to make is scale on drives lawful. And we were on time. The suit and me. He probably was approaching 70 and did not touch a forklift in 40 years. Drove it better than I usually do.

    Who needs people anyway.

This was my first solo load. I didn’t have triples endorsement either.

They could be handy for moving all the trucks doing their 30 in the fuel lane . But that's another thread.
