I just chewed a 'bedder out yesterday when I asked whether his Cascadia had integrated steering or a rack. He didn't know. When did he look at the motor last? He hasn't. He's not a mechanic and it gets looked at when it gets PMed. Company guy.

75% of them don't give a rip. So you got stuck with an old mentor truck that wasn't maintained properly. You'll be trading trucks again soon. But see whether your DM can wait until after the first of the year. New trucks come in.

    Everett Thanks this.

    Hi Injun, thanks.
I was thinking the same thing. This truck has nearly 500k so it shouldn't be more than a few months before it is retired, but I think I'll have it past new year.
I'll just do my best to take care of it until then.

Who knows. If I am sweet to her, maybe her AC will start working correctly. Right now, I get cold air for about 20 minutes before it starts blowing unconditioned air.
Blows cold again if I turn it off for a few minutes, for about 15-20 minutes. Weirdest thing.:biggrin_2556:

Check if there is a relay in the fuse box for the A/C. If there is, simply pull it and take it to the parts room. Don't waste your breath telling what it's for. Just ask for a new one like "this" and hand it to the counter person.

It's like groceries--first in, first out. Plus, as you said, the company leases their power units so they're going to get the miles they can out of them. Someone will get the old one, someone will get the new one.

I hope your "get my stuff" trip is uneventful for you.

Can't identify a relay that might be the culprit. Guess I'll just have to live with it for now.

Another problem cropped up unrelated to the truck, but having to do with this whole fiasco of busing to WV and then having the truck in the shop.

I will have a zero paycheck this next week. $0

I thought I would have the travel pay on this check. No such luck.
So I macro'd for a personal advance, and was turned down.
I call a DM in Fontana. He can't push it through so he tells me to call Phoenix. I do so, talk to another DM who tells me that I have been cut off because I am $265 in arrears.

My travel pay is in limbo, all the money for the motel room is working against me, and I spent $60 on the cab ride getting me to the terminal to get the truck and a lot more money on food while in the motel than I normally would've in my truck.

So now I am nearly broke with no pay come payday.
I'll have to wait until Monday to speak with my DM about it. Maybe he can do something.
